WeWork's $8M Buckhead Prep

How much did WeWork spend on its Atlanta debut? According to BuildZoom's records for TowerWalk, the retail portion of the Buckhead Tower Place mixed-use campus where WeWork inked a deal last year, the co-working space provider spent more than $8M, including on plumbing with Pure Fire Protection, lighting with Lin R Rogers Electrical Contractors and fire alarms with Cana Communications.

We previously reported WeWork looks to grow its Atlanta presence up to 200k SF throughout the area. The rapidly-growing company is under the leadership of co-founders Miguel McKelvey and Adam Neumann and scored a $6B valuation in a recent public offering.
