Coke Finally Creating IT Center In Downtown

After Bisnow first reported the hometown soft drink giant's plan to bring its IT folks to Downtown Atlanta a few years back, Coke is finally moving forward with its Coca-Cola-IT Center of Excellence.

The firm has filed a permit with the City of Atlanta to create its long-planned center at the SunTrust Plaza Garden office building at 303 Peachtree Center Ave. According to the permit, it plans to transform an existing tenant space with partitions, new ceiling tiles and data equipment.

A few years back, the company signed a 10-year lease for 276k SF in the building with plans to move from its 3200 Wildwood office in Cumberland/Galleria.
