KBS Signs Benefits Company At Atlantic Station Tower

Purchasing Power will have its headquarters at 201 17th St. in Atlantic Station.

An Atlanta-based employee benefits operator has secured its headquarters in Atlantic Station.

Purchasing Power inked a six-year lease for 22K SF at 201 17th St., the 355K SF office tower in Midtown that is home to Worldpay, according to a Securities and Exchange Commission filing by KBS.

KBS, which bought the tower in 2015 for $98.3M, owns 201 17th St. through its Real Estate Investment Trust III fund.

This appears to be a new lease. Previously, Purchasing Power had its headquarters at 1375 Peachtree, formerly known as Pershing Point Plaza, where it leased 37K SF in 2010. The firm, which allows employees of member companies to purchase electronics and appliances directly from their paychecks, is paying $42/SF and $5/SF in T.I., according to KBS. The lease is scheduled to start in September.
