What Does Majestic Realty Have In Common With Walmart?

The lengthy search is over. The world's largest retailer has quietly selected a site near Hartsfield-Jackson Airport for its second online sales distribution hub.

Majestic Realty has begun ground work on Majestic Airport Center IV, a massive site off South Fulton Parkway that's planned for 2.7M SF in three buildings. Sources say Walmart has inked a deal for a 1.2M SF e-commerce distribution center. This would be Walmart's second mammoth distribution center in metro Atlanta dedicated to online sales—it already operates a 1M SF facility in Carrollton, built in 2002. Majestic did not answer calls seeking comment.
