Lessons with a pro, a 9-hole scramble, networking lunch, and sunshine is more than enough to get us out of the office. Last Friday,AREW and NYCREW hosted their first golf outing at the Doral Arrowwood Resort in Rye Brook, NY. Behind those Foster Grants: NYCREW prez Sharon Khurdan, Perkins+Will's Debra Cole, Hartman & Craven's Tracey Daniels, and Caran Properties and AREW prez Rebecca Mason were among the 50 women hitting the green (or least cheering the hitters on). Debra traded clubs for gambling chips the following day, heading to Vegas for ICSC's RECon, where she hosted a special interest group on the importance of networking for women in retail real estate.
Halfway through, an LL Bean Catalog broke out. This would be JJFD Architecture & Interiors' JJ Falk, Lightolier/Philips' Nora Fay, WB Wood's Laurie Hutner, J. Tucci Construction Corp.'s Gail Goldberg, and Chicago Title's Pat Lopinski. We have to say, pastels are a nice break from the industry's ubiquitous black business suits.
