A fascinating piece of history was revisited last night, and our sister publication in DC was there. Developer Penzance co-hosted not just a breathtaking assemblage of historic figures from the scandal of 40 years ago, but at the scene of the original crime, the Watergate office building. And in the process, it got to show off the building it starts renovating today to ?bring back to glory.? We snapped Charlie Rose interviewing Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein, just a part of the cavalcade; other big names that returned included John Dean, Ben Bradlee, Egil Krogh, Fred Thompson, Richard Ben-Veniste, and William Weld.
