At our Bisnow 2014 Atlanta Forecast, we met up with Franklin Street Real Estate Services' Ricky Jones fresh from brokering the sale of the Ponce De Leon Hotel. Nazar Properties purchased the 58-room, 19k SF extended-stay hotel for an undisclosed sum from the long-time family who owned it. Franklin's Jake Reid was the main broker behind the sale; he previously told us the 1.2-acre site could be used for a future mixed-use development.

You can formerly say goodbye to the former ESPN Zone building in Buckhead. Gilbane Building Co's Jeff George (with Lessard Design's Jim Hanna) tells us the steel is arriving this week for the new 65k SF Restoration Hardware signature store right off Peachtree Street in the heart of Buckhead. Gilbane is handling the construction management. (Hardware shoppers, be wary. Like any building that was once an ESPN Zone, Joe Namath may wander in and try to kiss you.)
