Bisnow first reported earlier this month that Senior Housing Properties Trust (NYSE: SNH) purchased Rockdale Medical Plaza from Ackerman Medical—a division of Ackerman & Co. The building at 1501 Milstead Rd. went for $245/SF and was part of Ackerman's larger MOB program, in which physician groups co-invested in the projects and reaped the benefit once they sold. Among the tenants: Georgia Cancer Specialists, Georgia Urology, and Georgia Pediatric Cardiology. |
