PULLING PORK IN MIDTOWN

Okay  barbecue aficionados, you got another choice coming into town. Moe's Original Bar B Que is opening its first Atlanta restaurant in Midtown. It's taking space at 349 14th St. in the building affectionately known as Kool Korners, named after the popular Cuban eatery that used to occupy it. Founded in Tuscaloosa in 1988, this is Moe's 18th restaurant across the US, including eight in Alabama and eight in Colorado. Co-owner Jeff Kennedy says he has high hopes for the metro Atlanta market. ?We're Southern boys, and I think there's some good BBQ around Atlanta, but I don't think anybody's hit the mainstream,? he says. We're told Moe's has multiple stores planned in metro Atlanta, including several within the city and the outlying communities.
