PMRG Gets State Farm Job

PM Realty Group snagged the property management assignment for 64 and 66 Perimeter Center East—better known as the State Farm buildings—for Wells Core REIT. There's no space left to lease—save some data center space. (There also may be a utility closet if you're willing to share your office with some mops.) It's an  unusual move for Wells to outsource property management, "but with this third fund, they are outsourcing everything," says PMRG's Bill Weghorst.We also asked Bill about  leasing activity in Atlanta. Activity is up across the board—"All submarkets and all classes of space," he says. During the early stages of Atlanta's recovery, that activity was focused mainly on Buckhead and Central Perimeter. Now? "Tenants are starting to consistently expand for the first time in years." (Maybe with people expanding outward, we can expect less traffic? Maybe? Please?)
