We snapped Piedmont Hospital in Buckhead hours ago because Piedmont Healthcare has promoted Rob Simmons to corporate VP of real estate management. The real estate portfolio under his purview includes 89 locations across metro Atlanta. Simmons joined Piedmont in 2005 as VP of ambulatory services and biz dev. Previously, he was a senior consultant for Stroudwater Associates, a healthcare management consulting firm in Atlanta, and has worked as an exec with health systems in Georgia and Tennessee.
