| Joyce Fownes heads interior design projects for Perkins+Will, including the new corporate HQ for AutoTrader.com (in design) and the recently completed Newell Rubbermaid HQ. She's especially excited to be working on Perkins+Will?s new home at 1315 Peachtree Street. After 33 years at the corner of Peachtree and 17th, Perkins+Will outgrew its Atlanta office. The new digs will be LEED Platinum (wouldn?t expect less from the company with more LEED accredited professionals than any design firm in North America), and it'll reduce the company's footprint to comply with the 2030 Challenge. The interior design represents the latest in workplace strategies and design: collaborative and flexible team rooms with benching application, and flexible pin-up areas. |
