MANUFACTURING STRONG

Attention industrial developers: Kennesaw State professor Don Sabbarese, author of the monthly Georgia Purchasing Managers Index, tells us the manufacturing sector in Georgia and the Southeast is ?on very strong footing.? He's seen a strong uptick every month since January. In April, Georgia companies reported that factory orders, deliveries, and  employment all were up. Overall, the index in April (for both Georgia and the region) is 63.3. Anything over 50 is considered a sign of a growing economy.
