See the red dot? That's us. And with a microscope you could see all all of the local firms that are getting ready to start hiring. A just-released report says local firms intend to do more of just that in Q3. Manpower says that 16% of companies in Atlanta-Sandy Springs-Marietta plan to hire more employees between July and September, while just 8% expect to reduce payrolls. Another 69% will maintain current staff levels, and 7% voted for Pat Buchanan (wait, hold, we mean they're not certain). This is not quite as positive as the national results (18% plan to hire), but we'll take it!
