| On these dog days of summer, everyone needs a beer. Dogs themselves need a pick-me-up, too. So, when we saw that Glen Lake Apartments is hosting a Yappy Hour for dogs and their owners in the community?s dog park Aug. 4, we couldn't resist spreading the word. From 5:30-7 p.m, Glen Lake will serve beer, Cokes, and water for people, and yummy treats for Fido. The community, located in Sandy Springs on Glenlake Parkway, has 270 luxury apartments and says it's one of the few complexes to let residents have dogs up to 80 pounds—more with manager?s approval. The community also honors a ?Pet of the Month? and features the winner online and in the community newsletter. We'll bark, and drink, to that. |
