HIGHWOODS FINDS RELIGION

Highwoods Properties just signed a deal with North Point Community Church, which leased 42K SF at One Point Royal in Alpharetta, moving from Royal 400. Scotland Wright with Scotland Wright Associates brokered the deal for North Point. We heard about the deal at last week's NAIOP Night festivities at the St. Regis, where we found Highwood's John GrimsleyJim BacchettaMike Wells, and Jim Legg.

Also at the big night: PM Realty's Chip Roach (chatting with CBRE'sJohn Dolan). Comedian Larry Miller headlined, and NAIOP raisedmore than $80k for the Ron Clark Academy and Yes! Atlanta. Chip tell us he's starting to see more activity in Peachtree Corners, where PM Realty leases the Davinci Building and Peachtree Ridge.
NAIOP Night also brought out Resource Real Estate Marketing's Jae Robbins and Leslie Wright, Jones Lang LaSalle's Brooke Dewey, and Resource Real Estate Marketing's Jessica Childers. Resource is one of Atlanta's best known real estate marketing firms, having designed the collateral for such projects as One Ninety One Peachtree and One Atlantic Center.

Cousins Properties' Teresa Johnson was stoked that an autographed picture of Justin Bieber was available at the silent auction during NAIOP Night. Bieber and Bisnow actually have more in common than first letters. See the end of this issue for more.
