HABIF TAKES FORMER KROGER CENTER

Habif Properties' Michael Habif tells us he just purchased the former Kroger shopping center at 5134 Old National Hwy in College Park. (Databank says he picked it up for a cool $500k.) The mostly vacant shopping center (sounds like the set of a zombie movie), clocking in at nearly 74k SF, is now co-owned by Equitable Management Corp. Habif and Equitable will add some capital to refurbish the center and then pursue a mix of big box and in-line retailers for the center.
