Jacoby Development is getting a real Hollywood connection  in Gwinnett County.

Jacoby's Jim Jacoby (above) confirmed for us that the firm has hired long-time studio set scout Norm Bielowicz to manage what the developer of Atlantic Station will call the  Atlanta Campus Studios. Norm is also the former head of the Georgia Film Commission and still active as a location scout for a number of films, includingZombieland and Trouble With The Curve. According to recent press, he's helping find locations in Georgia for a Dreamworks movie calledNeed For Speed. And sources tell us Jacoby already has a major film studio set to temporarily lease out space at the soon-to-be former OFS campus to film a major motion picture. (So get out your cameras, people, TMZ will pay anyone for anything.)This is the latest in Jacoby's  potential 100-acre redevelopment of the OFS campus in Norcross. If Jim's vision comes to fruition, the complex will be transformed into what may truly be Hollywood in Gwinnett County, with a 400k SF media studio, a  film school and student housing. (Probably won't have as many people carrying little dogs in their purses though.) Closing is scheduled for later this year, and a purchase price was not disclosed.
