Atlanta's Freese Construction has been acquired by Cox Schepp Construction, based in Charlotte.The acquisition will allow Cox to expand its geographic footprint throughout the Southeast.
 
This morning we snapped Craft, one of our favorite fancy restaurants in Atlanta, but more importantly, an example of Freese?s local handiwork. Founded in 1995 by Patrick Freese, it's a well-established general contractor with its HQ in Atlanta and offices in Austin and Orlando.
Here?s Freese?s interior work at Craft. (We bet Craft celebrity chef and founder Tom Colicchio took a hands-on approach during build out.) In addition to Craft, Freese has been engaged on other high-profile projects locally including Weinberg Wheeler?s  new HQ at 3344 Peachtree, The Dump?s  first store in Atlanta at the former Home Depot on Sidney Marcus, and Tower Medical Offices at Northside Hospital's main campus.
