East Lake Memories

Beacon Management Services' Lisa Simmons Weibel was the first to send us her East Lake Tour Championship pic, here with legendary NLB and former Braves pitcher Phil Niekro at the Chik-Fil-A hospitality tent. "I asked him what his favorite memory was of his long, illustrious  baseball career," Lisa recalls. "He said it was all great, especially  being voted into the Baseball Hall of Fame and winning 121 games after he turned 40, the most wins by anyone over that age in baseball history."Richard Bowers & Co's  Hugh Rader, Ash Parker, Drew Griffin  and Grahame Wood also attended the PGA championship last week, and held their traditional closest to the pin bet. (We play closest to the fairway.) Hugh was the day's  big money winner.
