The sun was setting on another smoggy day in good 'ol Atlanta when we snapped this of CBRE's Eric Maney with Colliers' Craig Mendel at the REGA monthly meeting, held high above the city at the Buckhead Club at Sovereign last night. Craig and Eric were there to gain insight from Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed regarding transportation and real estate issues affecting the city. | |
And what did the mayor say? How 'bout that Jamestown Properties has finalized its purchase of City Hall East. Jamestown is slated (now) to redevelop the 2M SF former Sears warehouse for a future mixed-use project. The mayor also vowed to not raise property taxes in the City of Atlanta during his term "under any circumstances." At least he didn't say, "Read my lips." |
