| We caught up with Beau, right, with Regent Partners' Keith Mack during the joint AIA, Green Scene, and Circle of Trusts' Summer Social at OPERA. ?No new condo or high-rise apartment product has hit this market in two years,? Kim says. Given a 20-month average build-out, developers are vying to be the first out of the ground. (This certainly rings true, given Daniel Corp's Steve Baile recently said his company hopes to move forward with a high-rise apartment complex at 12th and Midtown.) Beau, who's father—the late Kim King—built the Centergy mixed-use project and helped Georgia Tech's campus expand over the connector, is less optimistic about office. ?Unless we get Sears who's looking for a million square feet … I can't see a catalyst that will kick off a project.? | |||
