| We snapped Buckhead Diner yesterday—and just taking the pic made us hungry for those Maytag blue cheese potato chips! Joey Riley, who's been executive chef at this Buckhead Life restaurant for six years, is leaving and opening Kaleidoscope Bistro & Pub this fall. Riley and his business partner Doug Gross leased space at Village Place Brookhaven, near both their homes. "I've been living in Brookhaven for more than a decade and while passing Village Place Brookhaven on my way to work, it became obvious that this mixed-use development would be the perfect spot for me to open my own restaurant," Joey says. He promises Kaleidoscope's menu will offer something for everyone with fresh, local ingredients. Sounds good, but in the meantime, we'll be at Buckhead Diner enjoying those chips! |
