BIG ORANGE BIG DEAL

Hometown fav The Home Depot could be making Henry County its new home for a major distribution campus. (Which makes sense given that historically, Henrys love their tools, just think of John Henry or Henry VIII.)

Sources tell us Home Depot is  eyeing a site owned by Prologis in Henry County for distributing  e-commerce  in excess of 1M SF (not at all represented above—we just liked this picture). This could put the cap on a search by Home Depot that involves not only other areas of metro Atlanta— including Jackson County—but  other states as well. A Home Depot spokesman would only confirm that Big Orange is ?exploring our options? and said that it is too early to elaborate. CBRE's Tony Kepano, who is repping the company, and officials with Prologis did not return calls seeking comment. As always, we'll keep you posted. (Otherwise we talk to dogs, and they just don't understand the subleties.)
