The Atlanta office of our sponsor Reznick Group has pledged $250k to the Tull School of Accounting at UGA. Managing partner Wes Hudson says the firm wants to make sure it supports education at the collegiate level and ongoing professional education for current staff. It's an especially generous gift considering Wes went to another SEC school, Auburn (you may recognize Auburn great Bo Jackson in the montage behind Wes). The pledge will help the university contribute more to the faculty budget (including faculty research and teaching, student orgs, and scholarships). For Reznick, the gift is one of many made to educational institutions including the University of Alabama, Auburn, and Oglethorpe University. The investment looks even stronger as Georgia's accounting program is ranked top 10 by Public Accounting Report  and rated among the Top 20 accounting programs by US News & World Report.
