A Braves Move Skeptic

Commercial Property Professionals' Furman Wood (and past Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors president) calls the Braves' move a huge boon  for the Cobb Galleria/Cumberland area. "It would  change the look of that whole corridor from the retail and hotel perspective," he says. But he's still skeptical about the move and whether the taxpayers of Cobb County are going to approve the money—"and that the City of Atlanta is not going to put up a fight." (Get the popcorn ready... it should be good TV.)
