Empire Stores, the warehouse-turned-office building on the Dumbo waterfront, is now fully leased.

Newell Brands, the parent company of household product brands like Rubbermaid and Sunbeam, has signed on for 47K SF of office space on the building's third floor to support its e-commerce efforts, Crain's New York Business reports.

The six-story, 400K SF office building developed by a partnership of Midtown Equities, Rockwood Capital and HK Organization has filled with such diverse tenants as Wasserman Media Group subsidiaries, advertising firm 72AndSunny, United Technologies and leisure/co-working club Soho House since its redevelopment began in 2013.

Newell Brands retained a CBRE team led by brokerage powerhouse Mary Ann Tighe, and will receive $4M in performance-based tax credits from Empire State Development Corp. through its Excelsior Jobs program. Newell moved its headquarters from Atlanta to Hoboken, New Jersey, in 2016.
