In A League Of Her Own: Cushman & Wakefield’s Tara Stacom Is Company’s Top Global Producer

Cushman & Wakefield executive vice chairman Tara Stacom has just been named as the company’s top producer for 2015, closing more than $1.6B in global transactions.

Over the course of 2015, Tara arranged deals for Allen & Co, Korn Ferry, Hackensack University Medical, and completed building agency assignments for Glorious Sun, Morgan Stanley, Murray Hill Properties/Clarion Partners, Tishman Speyer, RXR Realty, SL Green, Kensico Properties, The Durst Organization and the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey.

“Success in our industry requires unparalleled dedication and perseverance, combined with the ability to always put the needs of the client first,” Cushman & Wakefield chairman and CEO Brett White said in a release. “Tara…brings these attributes to her job every single day.”

Americas chief Joe Stettinius agrees, saying Tara’s fluency in global markets, strategies and “expert executive abilities” are why she’s been able to work with high-profile tenants. And, according to Tri-State region president Ron Lo Russo, Tara’s able to bring in huge advantage and returns for her clients with “creative and innovative solutions.”

Not only is Tara the first woman in Cushman & Wakefield’s history to earn this status, but this is the second time she’s done so.

In January, Tara—along with her sister and late father—was awarded the Bernard H. Mendik Lifetime Leadership in Real Estate Award by REBNY for exceptional service, and in 2011, the Board awarded her the Most Ingenious Deal of the Year Award (First Place Henry Hart Rice Award) for the leasing of One World Trade Center.
