Yesterday, we snapped Rudin Management’s Michael Rudin, Samantha Rudin (known to Michael as Sammy, though he wouldn’t confirm nor deny whether he answers to Mikey), and president Eric Rudin at 101 Park, site of the AREW lunch at which Samantha was speaking. She says Greenwich Lane (as the 200-unit condo project between Sixth and Seventh is called) launched sales in October and is almost 50% done at about $3,500/SF.

Her first project with Rudin was 130 W 12th, just east of this one. And if that was her first baby, Greenwich Lane (which we snapped yesterday) was like having quintuplets. All the talk of families is fitting, considering these units (in five buildings from existing-building renovations to a new tower to townhomes, all arranged around an inner courtyard/garden, cater to families in need of hard-to-find larger units. Only about 5% of the buyers have been foreign, she says.
