Isabelle Pullis, Mary Ashton Yarmy, and Leah Melone at NYC Wine Co, 167 W 23rd St on April 26, 2012
At NYCREW's wine tasting at NYC Wine Co on 23rd Street on Thursday to benefit the organization's outreach with nonprofit Girls Quest, we snapped Fidelity National Title's Isabelle Pullis, Mary Ashton Yarmy, and Stroock & Stroock's Leah Melone.
Allison Lange Lissner and Wendy Berger at at NYC Wine Co, 167 W 23rd St on April 26, 2012
Cole Schotz's Allison Lange Lissner (with colleague Wendy Berger) tells us she's seeing a significant increase in office and retail leasing, mostly in Midtown South. (Where have we heard that before?) She's headed to England this summer for some Olympics and some in-laws. Wendy is working on the opening of Newark's Dinosaur Bar-B-Q next to the Prudential Center. The Syracuse grad is excited to bring a taste of that town to New Jersey.
Nicole Horne, Anna Hertzman, Nancy Kahn-Rosenthal, and Lynne Mekeel at NYC Wine Co, 167 W 23rd St on April 26, 2012
Nicole Horne heads up acquisitions and dispositions for Brixmor Property Group (formerly Centro Properties) and tells us she's actively seeking grocery-anchored centers in major urban markets, Swedbank's Anna Hertzman is on the tail-end of working out a troubled hotel loan portfolio her firm inherited from Lehman. A.C. Desk's Nancy Kahn-Rosenthal says education space-users are expanding and posting big demand for furniture. She also just got into the NYC m via the lottery, ensuring she'll continue her streak to five consecutive runs there. And Merchants Properties' Lynne Mekeel tells us her firm does property management and financing, adding that it's a full-time job keeping up with the new City regulations on elevators, sprinklers, boilers, fuel upgrades, and the like. "Not much fun, but someone has to do it."
