WHAT'S NEW IN THE 'HOOD
ICSC New York Next Generation members at a roundtable event at Westin Times Square
Thursday night, business improvement districts and retailers from around the New York Metro joined 100 ICSC New York Next Generation members at the Westin Times Square for the group's second roundtable event. Members got the inside scoop on happenings in the local neighborhoods and what makes each BID unique, such as bustling Downtown Brooklyn, which is experiencing a retail and hospitality resurgence (did you know that it's home to one of the best performing Targets and Lane Bryants in the entire country?)

Some of the BIDs that participated included the 34th Street Partnership, Madison Avenue Improvement District, the Alliance for Downtown New York, and the White Plains Improvement District. Two retailers, Energy Kitchen and Subway, also joined in the discussion. We hope that this night was a preview of positivity and idea swapping that we'll hear from ICSC's RECon at the end of May. Since we won't be there, make sure you report back to us—what happens in Vegas will go in Bisnow!
