NAIOP NJ volunteers at the Community Food Bank of NJ
And speaking of NJ NAIOP, nearly three dozen of its members, staff, and friends recently spent the day as volunteers at the Community Food Bank of NJ in Hillside, sorting and repacking incoming donations for distribution as part of the chapter's annual Volunteer Day. The event was planned by Cronheim Mortgage's Janet Proscia and OGP Architects' Richard Pratt. The food bank welcomes the help—demand is up nearly 35%, and it distributes 33M pounds of food annually to 1.2k non-profit charities, including soup kitchens, shelters, and seniors centers. Partner distribution services help it reach an estimated 900k people in 18 NJ counties.
