Details Emerge For $3.5B Schuylkill Yards Project

New details have come out about the massive Schuylkill Yards project, scheduled to break ground in early 2018.

The project is expected to take 20 years to complete over six phases. The first of those will be a 700k SF mixed-use building that will reportedly be at least 60% dedicated to office. That building is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2019, according to the Philadelphia Business Journal.

When the entire project is finished, it will cover about 5M SF at an estimated cost of $3.5B. The massive undertaking will be developed with Brandywine Realty Trust's ground lease agreement with Drexel University. [PBJ]
