It’s official—Britain will begin the process to leave the European Union by the end of March, Prime Minister Theresa May said Sunday.
The date was somewhat of a surprise to observers who had assumed May would wait until France's presidential elections ended in May before starting the process, but she said the nation will not be derailed. She also said her government will fight any legal challenges intended to stall the Brexit decision, CBS News reports.
