More Office Space At Former Hickory Hollow Anchor

Placeholder

Crestview Funds is planning to buy the Macy's site at the former Hickory Hollow Mall in Antioch and convert it into about 175k SF of office space. It's the same thing the company is doing with the mall's former Sears, which recently landed Bridgestone Americas as a tenant, because demand for office space in Nashville—even away from the CBD—is at an all-time high.

In particular, employers have been locating call-center and back-office jobs in Antioch, the Nashville Business Journal reports. The mall, now Global Mall at the Crossings, is still a retail entity without its former anchors. Besides the former Sears and Macy's becoming office space, the former Dillard's is now a satellite campus for Nashville State Community College, and the JC Penney is now a library and community center.
