Conversion Of Sports Facility In Franklin A No-Go

Placeholder

Cincinnati-based Al. Neyer backed out of a deal to buy the former A-Game Sportsplex in Franklin for $16M. The company cited the controversy surrounding the sale of the youth sports facility, which it wanted to redevelop into a 175k SF office building, as reason for the move.

Prospective tenants didn't want to be seen as responsible for forcing out the youth volleyball and hockey clubs that had operated at the facility, reports the Tennessean. Al. Neyer is working on other prospective projects in the metro area, including Downtown and in Cool Springs. [Tennessean]
