Boston Investor Buys Airport Market Office Property For $40M

Albany Road Real Estate Partners acquired the 250k SF Commerce Center East building, near Nashville International Airport, for $40M. The investor, which places funds from high-net-worth clients, entered the Nashville market in 2014 when it acquired the ServiceSource Tower Downtown for $34M. Now it owns about 1M SF of office and industrial space in metro Nashville, reports the Nashville Business Journal.

Tenants at Commerce Center East include Viacom and IT giant Computer Sciences Corp. Cushman & Wakefield will continue to lease the building. Albany Road is now eyeing properties in Williamson County, the fastest-growing county in the state. Thus far it doesn't own anything in that market. [NBJ]
