Canada's Onni Group has filed plans to build a big apartment complex at 1360 North Vine St. near ArcLight Hollywood.

The project, which needs city approval, would include a 21-story tower with 429 units, at least 60k SF of retail and parking for 677 cars, Urbanize LA reports.

Onni wants a 35% density bonus increase in exchange for designating 16 of the units for low-income tenants. It also would build another 19 low-income units off-site.

The building would have studios, one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments and five penthouses.

San Francisco's Stanley Saitowitz | Natoma Architects is designing the building.

If approved, it is expected to be completed in 2021.

Onni is also building a mixed-use project on Santa Monica Boulevard that would have 231 units.
