Harley Ellis' Reign

We caught up last week with Harley Ellis Devereaux business development guru Roy Reel, who shared this photo of him and wife Patricia over the long Labor Day weekend touring Niagara Falls (they also visited several Ontario family wineries). Roy tells us the 107-year-old company is stronger than it's ever been, as it's working on three of the biggest projects in LA, including Greenland USA's Metropolis Phase 1 and 2 ($800M), USC Village ($650M), and Circa at 1200 Figueroa ($320M), which is being developed by a JV of Jamison, Hankey Investment Co, Falcon California Investments and Highlands Capital.

Roy tells us the firm is also designing Pepperdine University’s 458-bed Outer Precinct housing complex in Malibu, Essex Property Trust’s 200-unit 6250 Sunset mixed-use project in Hollywood, and AMLI Residential’s 450-unit 100 West Walnut residential development in Pasadena.
