Denver: Best Place For Businesses And Careers

The best place in the nation for businesses and a career is Denver, according to Forbes, which just published its list of the No. 1 best metro areas for pursuing businesses and careers. We're not surprised: Denver's relatively central location makes it a natural place as a distribution hub for the West, while also supporting a number of growing industries in tech and telecommunications, the magazine reports.

That's attracting Millennials, but there's more than that: Denver has prime urban neighborhoods such as LoDo and it's an outdoor-oriented city. Denver thus ranks first, ahead of Provo, UT; Raleigh, NC; Seattle; and Portland.
