GC Opens In Dallas, Starts Park 20

Break out the champagne glasses because Arch-Con opened a new office in Preston Center and is about to break ground on Park 20, a 468k SF distribution center in South Dallas. The timing is great for a project like this, Arch-Con CEO Michael Scheurich (left, with VP Robert Martin) tells us, because the Lancaster area is growing really quickly. Robert tells us the south corridor's growth is due to its easy access to many highways and airports. Investors need to be able to get in and out quickly, and airports like Alliance allow that. Park 20 will be large, with three phases totaling 1.1M SF. Huntington Industrial Partners is the developer.

Here's Park 20. Arch-Con also has several full- and limited-service hotels in the pipeline in Dallas and Fort Worth, and Michael and Robert tell us they expect to see more grocery-anchored shopping centers built in the Metroplex. Some of the major grocers have some pretty hefty expansion plans, Michael tells us.
