BISSELL TOPS OUT WOODWARD BUILDING

The Bissell Cos recently held a topping out ceremony to mark the completion of steel framework for the Woodward Building (right now it could be a monster bee hive), named in honor of Dr. James Woodward (UNCC?s third chancellor, credited with paving the university?s way to becoming a doctoral research institution). The Woodward Building is one of two, 10-story, self-financed spec office projects Charlotte-based Bissell announced in June. They're regarded by industry experts as the largest spec office developer in the country with $100M in projects totaling 550k SF.
