NEW HQ FOR PNC

Yesterday, PNC Financial Services announced its Greater Maryland HQ is moving from Two Hopkins Place to 119k SF at One East Pratt Street. Move-in is next July, and the deal includes a 7,000 SF PNC Bank branch on the first floor.
Empty street. Dark windows. Looks like they're already keepings banker's hours. CBRE's Kevin Wille repped the landlord (a JV between Griffith Properties and Fremont Realty Capital purchased the building in 2006), with PNC repped by C&W's Courtenay Jenkins and Whitney Nye and GVA/Williams' John Hennessey. The new location offers more efficient space as well as better retail options for PNC employees (now they'll be able to grab a steak from Sullivan's without leaving the building). PNC regional president Louis Cestello said in a statement Baltimore's a ?major growth market? for the firm and the deal's a reflection of the bank's long-term commitment to the city.
