KRYSTAL HQ TO CENTRAL PERIMETER?

Central Perimeter is the target for Atlanta's newest HQ move. One tiny burger at a time.
 
Krystal Co—makers of very, very fine mini burgers, though that word doesn't describe its effect on our waist line—announced yesterday afternoon that it will move its Chattanooga HQ (above) to Atlanta, potentially hiring up to 150 employees for back office functions. We chatted with Krystal?s chief marketing officer Tom Peterson  who tells us the company is eyeing office space in Central Perimeter, using Wyatt Realty Co's Harold Wyatt for the search. While Tom didn't have the size available, sources say the company is seeking between  20k to 22k SF.
 
Licking your screen may be hazardous to your health. There's myriad reasons for Krystal to move here, and Tom cites ease of access, both for its employees in Central Perimeter and for its executives. ?Jumping on a plane out of Chattanooga, you got to make a couple of connections,? he says. ?Time is money.? Also, Georgia is Krystal?s largest territory, so its HQ will be in the heart of the metro area. Company execs say the company plans to open 150 new restaurants in the next five years.
