HAPPY EARTH DAY
Want to get a jump-start on upcoming deals? Meet the major Atlanta players at one of our upcoming events!
|This morning we stopped by 999 Peachtree for an Earth Day-themed celebration in the lobby. Folks from Jamestown, which owns the building, and Cousins, which manages it, were celebrating its being named one of just 362 in the country to achieve LEED-EB (ie, existing building).|
We snapped USGBC?s Carlie Bullock-Jones, Cousins senior property manager Janine Powell, and Jamestown COO Matt Bronfman. The building has been awarded LEED Silver. One reason: Jamestown invested $800,000 in retrofits and improvements. Matt tells us, ?With 999 Peachtree, we are constantly evaluating our environmental impact and establishing a future as a green leader in the Atlanta community.?
