Last night, we headed to WDG Architecture on Connecticut Avenue for their first annual District Night. We snapped WDG managing principal Sean Stadler with his colleague Frances Downey and COPT's Tom Kelley. The evening centered around a tasting event that highlighted local DC distilleries, breweries, cideries and food.
Attendees, comprised of local real estate developers, were each given a passport to record their journey through the dozen tasting stations. Here, CityLine's Donna Shafer, Lerner Enterprises' Jim Policaro, CityLine's Tasso Flocos, Don Ciccio & Figli's Jonathan Fasano, NVR Inc.'s Jay Johnson and DG Architecture's Lisa Scala.
Many local distilleries and breweries were represented, including One Eight Distilling, District Distilling, Right Proper Brewery and New Columbia Distillers, featuring its Green Hat Gin. Here, GSA's Jim Forantsky and Ed Newman surround WDG Architecture managing principal Durwood Dixon.
In addition to the drink tastings, attendees enjoyed a taco station, cheese and charcuterie spread, and a mashed potato bar. Here, Donohue Construction's Mark Barry, WDG Interiors' Howard Weiss and CRE Consulting's Pat Barnhart.
Washington REIT's Nicole Morrill joins Right Proper's William Bruder and WDG Architecture's Ed Murn and Esther Christian.
Attendees enjoyed the music stylings of a jazz band in the lounge with an open bar nearby.
Toll Brothers' Ife Oyelowo, Paige Hackler and Erin Reisinger.
