Ragnaröck!
Saturday, we went to the Hirshhorn Museum for its late-night event, Ragnaröck.
The after-hours experience was inspired by Ragnar Kjartansson’s spellbinding, poignant and humorous exhibit, and included a last-chance opportunity to view the exhibition before it closed this weekend. We snapped Silverbee's Jenny Lawhorn with Blue Capture Consulting's Leslie Winik.
Guests enjoyed music by DJ’s Lisa Frank and How To Dress Well in the lower level, bands Dawkins, Cinema Hearts and Chain & The Gang in the round experience on the third floor, the Women in E performance (featuring one of the female musicians featuring in Woman in E installation) on a glittering, golden pedestal in the exhibition. Here, GWU's Kristin Dlesk, Good Shepherd Lutheran Church's Eddie Stall and Hirshhorn Museum's Karen Vidangos.
This event was another in Brightest Young Things' 10-year anniversary series. Guests were treated to an open wine and beer bar. Here, Navy Yard's Chris Flood with his wife, Emmy Flood, Ashley DeSwetz and NGA's Mary Holloway.
Here, Fabiana Talbot and Cassidy Karakorn, who work in marketing, with Brightest Young Things' Amy Vong.
