Red Party!
Last night we also joined 700 at Gensler’s 13th red party, its biggest yet. Congrats to Meghan Davis, who recently got engaged. We snapped her bookended by her dad, Davis Construction CEO Jim Davis, and his partner Dennis Cotter.
GW president Steve Knapp and his wife Diane walked over from the inauguration of the White House Visitors Center. (Thank you David Rubenstein for contributing another wonderful thing to our city!).
Mosaic Urban Partners’ Calvin Gladney and Forest City VP Tom Archer, whose youngest son, a lacrosse star, recently graduated from University of Denver. This year, the party added a bourbon tasting bar and a musical trio.
Gensler is a top global design and architecture firm. Here, its crew: Vaki Mawema, marketing guru Gigi Webb, and DC co-managing director Jeff Barber. The packed party filled its K Street office, spilling into many rooms.
