We went to the 2017 Washington Auto Show at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center!
Washington Nationals shortstop/outfielder Trea Turner took part in a panel, Q&A session with fans and signed autographs. Here, Events DC President/CEO Greg O’Dell, Events DC Board Chair Max Brown, Turner and Washington Auto Show producer John O’Donnell.
During the Q&A, panel members discussed their favorite cars today, the first car they owned, and Turner revealed his favorite DC athletes were his Nats teammate Anthony Rendon and Wizards All-Star star point guard John Wall. Here, Kia's Paige Steck is flanked by the Kia Hamstars, Rasta and Roxie.
The Washington Auto Show, the largest public show in Washington, DC, is celebrating 75 years of automotive innovation. The event is open to the public through Feb. 5, and provides more than 750k SF of autos, advanced technology and experiential events throughout all levels, exhibition halls, exhibit space and meeting rooms of the convention center. More than 35 domestic and import manufacturers are presenting more than 600 vehicles. Here, Honda's Alexandria Mitchell and James Van Hess with the Honda Clarity Fuel Cell.
