The Center for Innovative Technology president and CEO Pete Jobse announced today he would resign at the end of the year and return to the private sector. Pete joined CIT, a Virginia-funded organization based in Herndon that helps advance the state's tech sector, in October 2002 as EVP and COO. He was named CEO in May 2003. During his tenure, CIT launched the GAP Funds, which have written seed stage checks to 115 Virginia-based companies. He also created the Connect Service Line, a tech consulting service, and MACH37, a cybersecurity accelerator.
